We are happy to announce that our Spree Marathon is going into the fifth round. The 5th Spree Marathon will take place from 19 to 20 October 2024. We are looking forward to seeing you!

Dear friends of water sports! 
On 21 and 22 October 2023 the starting signal will be given for the 4th Spree Marathon in Cottbus!
On two race days, the participants will fight for victory and cover more than 51 km with various riverbed swells and portages. SUP athletes will also have the opportunity to take part in this exciting competition and gain eventful experience on the Spree.

We are happy to announce that our Spree Marathon will take place for the fourth time on 21-22 October 2023. 

We would be very happy to see you again! 

The annual Spree Marathon took place on 15 and 16 October 2022. More than 40 athletes from Denmark, France, Austria and Germany took part in this exciting race. All participants travelled together to the start in a large bus. The start was again on the bank of the Spremberg dam. As soon as the start signal sounded, the athletes ran to their boats and SUP boards. From there, they set off in a triangular course across the reservoir. After they had mastered the first portage, the boats were lowered into the Spree. The destination was the boathouse in Cottbus.

This year, the starting signal for the 3rd Spreemarathon in Cottbus will sound again on 15 and 16 October 2022. Are you an ambitious water sports enthusiast looking for a new challenge? Then our marathon is the right place for you! In two days of racing, the participants will fight for victory by covering more than 51 km with some riverbed swells and portages. This guarantees an exciting head-to-head race. The marathon can be contested in various boat classes. SUP athletes can also take part in this exciting competition and gain eventful experience on the Spree.
